PSP Accessories---TV Out Cable for PSP Review

During the days when the Super Nintendo ruled the world, Nintendo developed what was known as The Super Gameboy. It was where you stuck your gameboy games into a specially made cartridge and they played on your Super Nintendo. The Gamecube also had a variant. The Gameboy Player. These things worked really well to play handheld games on a television. Sony, taking a lesson from Nintendo, decided to do their own. This PSP accessories - the TV out cable does exactly what it's supposed to but there are a couple of things that just make it a hassle to deal with.

It's easy to work. At the bottom of your PSP is the port, and then you plug the cables into your television. These cables do not work a standard definition television, however. It must be an HDTV and it must support Progressive Scan or else you won't get a picture. When you plug the cables in and connect it to your PSP and you get a picture, it's actually quite crisp. In some games, however, it'll bring out the worst in the graphics. Some games just weren't meant to be on the big screen. Some games you can see more jagged edges that you otherwise wouldn't see on the PSP's small screen.

One big problem, however, is that the game doesn't take up the whole screen. It's basically just a rectangle in the center of the television. It works out, but the menu itself will actually take up the entire screen. It's a little strange, but games play very well. And the PSP acts as your controller. However, this can be a little bothersome to some people. If you ever suddenly need to take it off the TV you can disconnect from your PSP in the middle of play with no harm done to your television or your PSP.

There is no problems with this PSP accessory. The fact is that the cord is perfect. It's good enough it does work on a standard definition TV and that it shows perfect. If your plugins are on the back of your television. A longer cord would've been nice.

According to me, I am very glad I bought this, video fills the whole screen however lower visual presentation due to image being stretched to 480p and games are centered in the middle of the screen filling only about two thirds. psp games are also stretched to 480p where you lose some image quality. alot more enjoyable playing on the big screen. why didn't i buy this sooner?! beats me! now i can't live without it!

Other reviews:

PSP Accessories---Protective Filter Review

Do you know what PSP Accessories are? PSP Accessories are fittings related to PSP. For example, a PSP screen is clear and large - and is almost a magnet for fingerprints, dust and scratches. These sort of PSP accessories helps to protect it from damage. In essence it's a clear plastic layer that you place down with a sticky substance on your PSP screen. You need to clean your screen VERY well to start with. We have eyeglass cleaner in the house and it worked perfectly - not a speck of dust or lint was left when we began. Then we carefully followed their instructions to lay down the screen. It went down without any problem at all, and was crystal clear once it was down. Playing through it did not present any issue, and it really does a good job of keeping oils and dust away from the actual screen surface. This is an excellent screen filter for the Sony PSP. It reduces the glare on the screen, it's scratch resistant and doesn't show finger prints as easily as the PSP screen. The instructions aren't 100% clear and I can see how this product has gotten some negative reviews on other sites.

However, the key is to understand that filter/protector is in between the sheet with the red tab and the sheet with the clear tab. For those that say they have bubbles or the filter is too thin, they probably applied the sheet with the red tab (which is what I did initially). After noticing the filter was stuck to the sheet with the clear tab, I removed it and applied it to the PSP. No bubbles or anything. Also the filter comes with a cloth to clean both the screen and the filter.

This PSP accessory was easy to use, the specification was helpful, and the screen is just as clear as before with fewer glares. I tried a couple of the cheaper screen protectors you can pick up anywhere, and they all left much to be desired. I came across a review for one of these and it looked better than the others so I ordered one. I'm glad I did. The Hori filter is easily the best one I have ever seen. Don't be fooled by cheap alternatives, Hori is the best and worth the pricey price and shipping. I highly recommend the product to anyone looking to protect their investment. It is a small price relative to an irremovable scratch across the screen. Take this one as an example, this is a typical kind of PSP accessories---- Protective Filter, much lower price and high quality, move to visit geartaker.com and take it home right now!

Many people have problem applying the filter. If you just peel off and apply the sticker directly, you will face the following 3 major problem:

1. Dust particles
2. air bubbles (or known as air pockets, caused by air or dust)
3. Sticker orientation accuracy

To solve the above problems, here is the secret and the correct steps, not limited to this PSP filter, in fact, this secret applied to all stickers application.

Do the following steps, and you will be amazed with the result.

Ingredients:
a. The screen protector filter
b. Bowl
c. hand soap, body shampoo (lotion, etc.. anything alcaline based will do)
d. water
e. plastic paper credit card sized or smaller which act as your lifter. Optional, use the front/back plastic cover for the sticker will do as well.
f. tissue paper

Steps

1. Wipe the PSP screen clean
2. Fill the bowl with one or two teaspoon amount of hand soap and dilute it with half bowl of water.
3. scoop out the bubbles in the bowl as many as possible.
4. Remove both front and back side of the filter. (remember the up-side)
5. Soak the filter into the bowl and take it out with your plastic paper. (try not to use finger)
6. Apply the filter gently (while it is still little wet)

7. Adjust the filter to the correct position desired.
8. Push the liquid out with a credit card from middle to outside.
9. Wipe any water that squeezed out from the corner of the sticker as soon as soon you see it.
10. If you see dust particle (a small air pocket with a little dust dot in the middle) inside the sticker, lift it up with a plaster paper, remove the dust, and close it back.
11. repeat step 7 to 10 until it is completely dry and up to your desire.

PSP Accessories--- Airfoam Pocket Case Review

I purchased this case for my son's PSP 3000 based on the pictures and features from geartaker.com. I first clicked on the video games category and then the PSP2000/3000 category and found that the list is quite exhaustive. PSP accessories from entry level to high range categories are all available here. We are both pleased with the sturdiness, protection and quality of the PSP accessories at this site. Meanwhile, I found that this site offers variouss PSP accessories. I am very happy that I chose this case over others and worth the price.

After a couple weeks of use, we have NO complaints. No trouble with scratching from the smooth rivet inside the PSP section that connects the clip loop to the outside (although I am watching that for potential problems.) and the case is holding up to continual use. I can easily put 5 games/movies in this case (2 in dedicated slots, 2 in extra storage area with headphones and 1 in the PSP itself) and this travels well.

The PSP fits great and the outer rubber shell of the case seems quite durable. However, if you look at the picture, you'll see a carabiner looped through a little strap on the case. That strap is held in place by a large rivet that's punched through the case and sits in the corner of the area the PSP should sit. This means that any time the PSP is in the case, that rivet is wearing on the PSP, potentially scratching, or otherwise ruining, the finish on the back of the system. If you buy this, be prepared to line the bottom with some heavy cloth or something to take the rivet out of the equation.

That being said, PSP accessories in geartaker are excellent for protecting and carrying. I would recommend this case and believe that it is the best value for the price, excellent quality. It is the best and worth the price, moreover, it is free shipping. I highly recommend the PSP accessories to anyone looking to protect their investment. It is a small price relative to an irremovable.

This  case is a sturdy, good size and well divided case that works perfectly for its purpose of protecting the PSP without that heavy weight other cases have. It came with a clear screen protection, a wrist cord, and a soft bag as great additions. I don't think the flimsy drawstring bag you get with a PSP is really enough. That is, not is you are clumsy like me. Go for one of these hard cases because as the saying goes, "Better safe than sorry."

I can't imagine anyone wanting to wear this on their belt, but if you feel inclined to do so, there are two belt loops sewn into the back of the case. There's also a ring on the corner that a wrist strap can hook onto.

In addition to being incredibly well constructed, it's also nicely designed and a great size considering everything it can hold. A double-sided divider separates the case into two compartments.
